its all a beautiful blur

{Thursday, June 29} Im wearing a skirt today. To work.
I dont know about you, but the idea that Israel is attacking Gaza scares me more right now than Iraq ever did. This could prove to be bad.

{Completely unrelated...}

Yesterday I posted that I wanted to see The Devil Wears Prada, and I still do, but I totally didnt realize that Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Man's Chest is opening next weekend! Who's seeing that with me?

Well.

They've been shelling it for the past year and for ten years and more previously they occupied it.

That occupation included the bulldozing of homes, etc.

Now, that was in response to Palestinians calmly stepping onto the local bus and detonating themselves in such a manner as to cause maximum collateral damage.

The Palestinians don't recognise the right of the Israelis to exist in any capacity so it's kinda catch 22.

What's scary about it anyway? That it might tip the scales and make Iran's newly installed radical fundamentalist governemnt itchy on the nuclear trigger finger?

Iran drops the bomb on Israel, Israel and the States retaliate, the Russians break the old bombs out of retirement in return for their historic patronage of Iran, America decides to nuke China just to keep things on a level playing field and the North Koreans are just pissed because they have no effective vehicle to deliver nuclear warheads!

There are too many trigger happy governing parties that have access to nuclear weaponry. There isnt any way that it could end well.

I am a twenty-seven year old Canadian girl. This is my blog.

Skin and tragedy always attract a crowd. (June 18th, 1976 by Pedro the Lion)

I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
Cause these words are my diary screamin' out aloud
And I know that you'll use them however you want to.
