I saw a bald eagle on the way to work today. I was going over the New Bridge and it was low enough that I could make sure that it was not a seagull. I was surprised that I actually saw an eagle so close to town.
I filled my car with gas today (from an eighth of a tank) and it only cost me $45.
Last night I went out and *gasp* socialized. News @ 11.

Ratpouch, I cant identify many birds, so I probably wouldnt know a woodpecker if I did see one, but eagles are eye catching. Its only the second or third time that I've actually seen one out in the open like that.
